Objectives

Our training helps schools to be aware and prepared - not scared!  Fear and anxiety is best managed by education, communication, and preparation.  We put sensitive school safety issues into context and common sense approaches based on our understanding of the unique climate and culture issues associated with schools

Course Content

• Identify common pitfalls and liabilities in school security

• Creating an emergency plans. 

• Learn practical, cost-effective "heightened security" procedures to employ during times of threats and increased safety concerns. 

• Stay out of court and in-the-know on school death and violence trends,

• best practices in school emergency and crisis planning,

• common gaps found by experts in school security assessments,

• communicating safety issues to parents and the media proactively and in times of crisis.
